Irth Solutions and Integrity Solutions join forces to blend software and engineering, aiming to modernize pipeline safety, compliance, and decision-making

A new partnership between two pipeline services firms aims to change how operators across North America manage safety, inspections and aging infrastructure, as regulatory scrutiny and data demands continue to grow.
Irth Solutions and Integrity Solutions said in a press release on Nov. 13, 2025, that they had formed a strategic alliance to combine software platforms with integrity engineering and field expertise. Industry analysts said the move reflects a broader shift toward fully connected, digital approaches to pipeline integrity management, long seen as a challenge in a sector built on legacy systems.
For decades, pipeline integrity programs have often been spread across multiple tools, consultants and manual processes. That fragmentation, operators have said, can slow decisions, complicate compliance and make it harder to detect emerging risks such as corrosion or material failure. The two companies said their partnership is designed to address those gaps by unifying data, analysis and planning within a single digital environment.
At the center of the collaboration is Irth Solutions’ Asset Integrity for Pipelines platform. Integrity Solutions plans to move its analysis and integrity engineering work onto the system, allowing operators to centralize inspection data, apply standardized threat evaluations and prioritize repairs more efficiently. According to company statements, the approach is intended to reduce reliance on disconnected tools while improving transparency and consistency in integrity decisions.
“This partnership reflects what operators are asking for,” the companies said in their announcement, pointing to demand for faster workflows, clearer compliance reporting and better visibility across integrity programs.
The timing comes as pipeline operators face mounting pressure from regulators and the public. Much of the U.S. pipeline network is decades old, and federal safety agencies have repeatedly identified corrosion and material degradation as leading contributors to reported incidents. As oversight increases, companies are seeking digital platforms that can more clearly document decisions and demonstrate risk management practices.
Analysts said the alliance fits a wider energy industry trend in which digital integrity systems are shifting from optional upgrades to core infrastructure. Integrated software-and-services models are also raising expectations around speed, accountability and standardized processes.
Still, challenges remain, including platform adoption, workflow changes and cybersecurity concerns as more integrity management moves to cloud-based systems. Even so, observers said momentum is building. With pipeline networks under growing strain, partnerships that promise clearer insight and reduced complexity are likely to shape how the industry manages risk in the years ahead.
